Notes: I began this book in Hawaii in the winter of 2016. I was (and still am) taking pictures of the food I was eating, before and after consuming it. I turned the photos into short videos (here too) and the instant absence and reappearance of items became interesting. I decided to take the idea as far as I could.

As this book does not have many words in it, the term "picture poem" felt most appropriate.
